Announcements :

North Port is a rapidly growing young City of over 40,000 residents and needs dedicated, fun-loving Lions.

Activities :

As with all Lions Clubs: we serve the visually impaired. And as we say: "OUR VISION IS: THAT OTHERS HAVE THEIRS". We provide eye care to needy people in North Port. Individuals that need assistance should contact City of North Port, Division of Social Services to apply. Phone 941-429-3700. Individuals must meet income guidelines. We sell and stock candy mints at several locations in town. We have used eyeglass collection boxes at the following locations: Center for Sight, Family Table Restaurant, Goin Postal, Holiday Park, Harbor Cove, North Port High School and North Port Library. We hold a Raffle each year. We participate in the Harvest Festival, Poinsettia Parade and Block Party, the People for Trees event and other fundraisers. We also raise funds at White Cane Days.
